          Coming from humble beginnings in the small town of Washington N.C. (“little washington”) Boon JAfi has his experience with struggles of everyday life. He wishes to motivate his listeners that no matter what obstacles life throws at them they can get back up after a fall.He and his friends had a term they used after and epic failure they would say “I crashed”. This would become the reason he coined the phrase “crash life” which later became his brand.

 Growing up he was in a local rap group called “Tripp C.” who were a popular group in the local area. Some of his musical influences span from the late Tupac to Jay Z to Black Thought,Young Jeezy,T.I.,and the late Nipsey Hussle. He began writing music when he was between the ages of 12-13 years old and would often use music as a means of expression.The name Boon Jafi means“King Born Country raised“. 

He’s worked with platinum selling artists like petey pablo and platinum producers like “ricky racks”(@rickyrackicu),and also has performed in front of larger crowds opening a show for “lil Wayne”. He is currently in the studio with his producers “S Drop and Rod P.”working on his 4th solo project titled “sparrow dr.legend e.p.“ in Which he plans to release a visual to every song.

The authenticity of his sound is compelling to say the least. His words can be captivating as he connects with the audience at their core through similar experiences they’ve had dealing with the struggles of having less and making more.He is in young minds throughout the world to be innovative, resilient ,and strong willed.
